Following the incredible success of our 2025 EKKA activation, AgForce is once again calling on members to volunteer in the Ag Hall at this year’s Royal Queensland Show (EKKA), running from Saturday 8 to Sunday 16 August 2026.

"There's no better spokesperson for Queensland agriculture than a farmer."

– Brendan Taylor
AgForce Grains President

Last year, thousands of visitors stopped by the AgForce site to learn more about where their food and fibre comes from. Some had never met a farmer before. Others were surprised to discover the innovation, technology and care that goes into modern agricultural production. The conversations were genuine, engaging and often eye-opening.

This is where you come in.

No one can tell the story of Queensland agriculture better than the people who live it every day. Whether you're involved in cattle, sheep, wool, goats, grain or sugarcane, your experiences help build understanding, trust and appreciation for our industry.

By volunteering in the Ag Hall, you'll help bridge the city-country divide, answer questions, challenge misconceptions and share the stories behind the food and fibre Australians rely on every day.

Morning and afternoon sessions are available, and AgForce will provide your EKKA entry ticket along with food and drinks during your shift.

This is a powerful opportunity to be an advocate for agriculture and ensure the voices of producers are heard.

Join us and help tell agriculture’s story, one conversation at a time.
